"Free" means something different on every one of these. The column that matters is the second one: can you get a live URL without a card? We checked each pricing page in July 2026. Prices move, so the sources are linked and you should re-check before you trust us.

The two that surprised us
Figma Make. You can publish on the free Starter plan. But Figma's own help centre says Starter users can only publish to the public web if they also publish the file to the Figma Community. Your page ships with your file visible to everyone. That's a fair trade for a demo and a bad one for a client's launch page, and it isn't the kind of thing you find out before you've built.
landingsite.ai. Its free tier is listed as create-and-preview with "No publishing". You can generate a whole site, admire it, and then discover the live URL is a $10/month Basic plan. Its $1 domain deal is real, but it's one year on a domain under $15, then it renews at the standard rate. The $1 is the hook, not the price.
What our free plan can't do
A page about honest pricing that only lists strengths would be its own kind of lie. Here are the four things that will annoy you, before you spend twenty minutes finding out.
One page. Not one at a time — one.
The free plan holds a single published page. A second one means Pro at €12/month. If you're testing three offers at once, free will not carry you.
There is no HTML export yet
We'd rather say it than dodge it: you cannot download your page as HTML today, on any plan. Your page lives on our hosting. If that's a dealbreaker for you, it should be — go use a builder that exports, and come back if we ship it.
The "Powered by" line stays on free
A small link at the bottom of the page, on a dark strip. It's how free pages pay for their hosting. Pro removes it. We won't pretend free pages are unbranded — they aren't.
AI writes the first draft, then it's you
Free covers the initial generation. Asking the AI to rewrite a page you already made is a Pro feature. You can still edit every word by hand on free, forever, at no cost.
And the number we're not going to fake: we're small and new. You won't see "1M+ pages created" or three smiling testimonials on this page, because we'd have to invent them. When the counter is worth showing, we'll show it and it'll be the real query against our database. Judge the free plan by using it for ten minutes instead. That costs you nothing, which is sort of the whole point.
How to make your landing page with AI

Describe the business in a sentence or two
Not a brief, not a prompt-engineering exercise. "Dog groomer in Bordeaux, mobile van, first appointment half price" is enough. The AI writes the headline, the features, the form labels and the CTA around it.

Fix what it got wrong, in blocks
It will get something wrong. Usually the tone, or a claim you'd never make. Every block is editable: text, colours, images, order. This is the part that takes ten minutes and is worth doing properly.

Hit publish and send someone the link
Your page goes live on a subdomain, HTTPS included, with no card and no upgrade prompt in the way. Submissions land in your dashboard. Add a custom domain later if the page earns one.
Questions people ask before signing up
Is it really free, or free until I click publish?
Really free, including publish. Generating, editing, publishing to a subdomain and collecting form submissions are all €0 with no time limit and no card. The free plan is capped at one published page and shows a "Powered by" line. That's the whole catch. There is no second one at the publish button.
Do I need a credit card?
No. Creating an account takes an email address and a password. There is no card field anywhere in the free flow — you only ever see one if you deliberately choose to upgrade to Pro at €12/month.
Do I need an account to generate a page?
Yes, and we'd rather be straight about it: the AI generator sits behind a free account, because generation costs us money per page and open endpoints get abused within a day. Email and password, no card, about twenty seconds.
What happens when I hit the free limit?
Nothing breaks. Your published page stays live and keeps collecting submissions. We don't take pages down or hold your leads hostage. You simply can't create a second page until you go Pro. The first one is yours either way.
Will there be branding on my free page?
Yes. A small "Powered by make-landing.com" link sits at the bottom of every free page, on a dark strip. It's not a watermark over your content and it's not a popup, but it is there and it is not removable on free. Pro switches it off.
Do I own the page? Can I export the HTML?
The content is yours and the submissions are yours. But there is no HTML export today, on any plan — your page is hosted by us and leaving means rebuilding elsewhere. That's a genuine lock-in and you should factor it in before you invest a client project in this.
Can I use my own domain?
On Pro, €12/month, with HTTPS handled automatically. Free pages live on a make-landing.com subdomain. If the page is for a real business you'll probably want the domain eventually — but you can validate the offer for free first and pay once it works.
Do I need to code?
No. The AI produces the first version, and everything after that is a visual editor: click a block, change the text, drag it up, pick a colour. No HTML, no CSS, no template files. The trade-off is that you also can't drop into the code when you want something unusual.
Does it work on mobile?
Published pages are responsive: every block reflows for phones and tablets automatically, and most of your visitors will arrive on one. The editor itself is built for a laptop; you can use it on a phone, but you won't enjoy it.
